Recruitment of Software Engineers in CRIS 2006

Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS), an autonomous organization of the Ministry of Railways, is the IT wing of the Indian Railways with state-of-the-art infrastructure at New Delhi and having regional data centres at New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Secunderabad, Kolkata, Patna and Gorakhpur. CRIS is engaged in the development, implementation and maintenance of many major computer applications, including the renowned computerized Passenger Reservation System(PRS) and Freight Operations System(FOIS) of Indian Railways.

CRIS requires the following Software/Network engineers for their projects as under :

1. Junior Software Engineer: Pay Scale : Rs. 5500-9000
2. Junior Network Engineer: Pay Scale : Rs. 5500-9000
3. Assistant Software Engineer: Pay Scale : 6500-10500
4. Assistant Network Engineer: Pay Scale : 6500-10500

In addition to the above emoluments, they will also be eligible for other benefits such as LTC, Medical Reimbursement, Leave Encashment, Gratuity and personal insurance as per Rules of CRIS.

Fees: Demand draft of Rs. 500/- for General Category, and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/OBC candidates drawn in favour of C.R.I.S. payable at Delhi

How to Apply:

1. Fill your details in the Online Application Form available here. However, you should have made your Demand Draft before applying.
2. Check All your Details and get a printed copy of your Registration Slip which is generated online.
3. After online registration send the Demand Draft, Educational and Caste Certificates along with a copy of Registration Slip to Post Box No. 2282, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi-110021, so as to reach latest by 8th JAN 2007^th Also keep a copy of Registration Slip with yourself for future reference.
   If a candidate wants to apply for more than one post, he/she should apply separately for each post along with the requisite fees.
4. Online Form will be available only between 22 NOV 2006 and 22 DEC 2006 However you can reprint your registration slip till 8th JAN 2007^th.
