The position and Requirements;

Engineer Trainees (total 480) in the disciplines of –

1. Mechanical Engg - 250
2. Electrical Engg. - 100
3. Electronics Engg. - 50
4. Computer Sc. & Engg. - 25
5. Executive Trainee (Finance) - 55

Supervisor Trainee (total 500) in the disciplines of –

1. Mechanical Engg - 300
2. Electrical Engg. - 100
3. Electronics Engg. - 40
4. Civil - 60

Qualifications

Engineer Trainee

Full time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognised Indian University/ Institute in the disciplines of MECHANICAL/ ELECTRICAL/ ELECTRONICS/ COMPUTER SC. & ENGG. with minimum 60% marks in the aggregate of all years/ semesters.

Executive Trainee (Finance)

Qualified CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT (CA) from ICAI or COST ACCOUNTANT (ICWA) from ICWAI with a degree from a recognised Indian University.

Supervisor Trainee

Full time regular three years Diploma in Engineering from a recognised Indian University/ Institute in the disciplines of MECHANICAL/ ELECTRICAL/ ELECTRONICS/ CIVIL with minimum 60% marks in the aggregate of all years/semesters.

In addition, the candidate should have undergone one year of “Technician Apprentice” training under Apprentices (Amendment), Act 1973.

UPPER AGE LIMIT as on 15^th January 2007

• Engineer Trainee: 27 years for Graduates. 29 years for Post Graduates
• Executive Trainee (Finance): 29 years
• Supervisor Trainee: 27 years

SELECTION PROCESS

The Written Test papers (which could even be an online test) will be objective type in nature and will be bilingual i.e. in Hindi & English. Based on merit and requirement, the short-listed candidates will have to appear for Personal Interview.
