UPSC Advt. No.04/07 and Spl Advt. No. 51/07

UPSC invites application on prescribed forms by 15th March 2007 (22nd March 2007 for the candidates from far flung areas) for various posts in various Government of India Ministries and Departments in the prescribed format. The post are :

1. One Senior Scientific Officer Grade-II (Military Explosives) in The Directorate General of Quality Assurance of Defence Production, Defence Quality Assurance Service in Defence Ministry. Pay Scale : Rs. 8000-13500, Qualification: Master's Degree in Chemistry or B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from a recognised University or equivalent . Age : 38 yrs.
2. Five post of Senior Grade of Indian Information Service (for Manipurai, Assemes, Bengali, Urdu & Telgu language) in Information & Broadcasting Ministry. Pay Scale : Rs. 6500-10500 Qualification: Degree of a recognised University or equivalent. (ii) Diploma in Journalism from a recognized University/Institute or equivalent. Age : 30 yrs.
3. One Deputy Director (Medical) in The Directorate General Factory Advice Service and Labour Institute in Labour & Employment Ministry. Pay Scale : Rs. 10000-15200, Qualification: A recognised Medical Qualification. Age : 40 yrs.
4. Three Assistant Administrative Officers in the Indian Bureau of Mines in Mines Ministry. Pay Scale : Rs. 6500 -10500, Qualification: Degree from a recognised University or equivalent . Age : 30 yrs.
5. One Scientist in Department of Environment, Forests & Wildlife in Govt of NCT of Delhi. Pay Scale : Rs. 6500-10500, Qualification: Masters' Degree in Environment Engineering of a recognised University or equivalent . Age : 30 yrs.
6. SPECIAL ADVERTISEMENT NO. 51/07 : 81 Eighty One posts of General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO) in Health Department of Govt. of Pondicherry. Pay Scale : Rs. 8000-13500 plus NPA , Qualification: A recognised Medical Qualification and completion of compulsory internship. Age : 30 yrs. , A Written Objective Test will be conducted to shortlist the candidates for interview and selection to the posts.
