Challenging Opportunity for Information Professionals in CSIR

URDIP is looking for scientists having initiative and drive to make this new IT enabled service unit of CSIR successful and invites applications for the following positions: -

• Scientist, Group IV (2): One Post – Pay Scale Rs.10000-325-15200/-
• Scientist, Group IV (1): Four Posts (one post reserved for ST) – Pay Scale Rs.8000-275-13500/-

Age Limit: Upper age limit for all the above posts is 35 years.

Application Form : The applications have to be submitted in the prescribed application form, which can be downloaded from URDIP website or can be obtained free of cost from the Administrative Officer, URDIP (address as above) by sending a self-addressed envelop (size 24 cms x 11 cms) affixed with postal stamps of Rs.10/-. The application forms should be obtained well before time so that the application reaches the Unit on or before the closing date for receipt of completed applications, which is 11th June 2007. The application fee is of Rs.100/- which should be remitted along with the completed application form.

How to Apply : The application forms duly filled in the prescribed application form and complete in all respects non refundable application fee of Rs.100/- (candidates belonging to SC/ST category/physically handicapped and regular employees of CSIR are exempted from payment of application fee) in the form of crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Head, Unit for Research & Development of Information Products” and payable at the State Bank of India, NCL Campus Branch (Br. Code 0003552), Pashan Road, Pune in an envelop duly super scribed as “Application for the Post of _______________ (Code___)______ should reach the Administrative Officer, URDIP, Pune at the above address on or before 11th June, 2007.
