• Director : 1 post
  • Pay Scale : Rs. 14300-18300
  • Age : below 53 years (Ralaxable to SC/ST/OBC candidate as per rules)
  • Qualification : A Doctorate degree in Entomology/ Zoology/ Agriculture/ Botany/ Sericulture or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university with a minimum of 12 years research experience out of which 5 years should be in the capacity of Joint Director (Rs.12000-375-16500) or equivalent.
• Joint Director : 1 post
  • Pay Scale : Rs. 12000-16500
  • Age : below 50 years (Ralaxable to SC/ST/OBC candidate as per rules)
  • Qualification : A Doctorate degree in Entomology/ Zoology/ Agriculture/ Botany/ Sericulture or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university with a minimum of 12 years research experience out of which 5 years should be in the capacity of Joint Director (Rs.10000-325-15200) or equivalent.
• Deputy Director : 1 post
  • Pay Scale : Rs. 10000-15200
  • Age : below 45 years (Ralaxable to SC/ST/OBC candidate as per rules)
  • Qualification : A Doctorate degree in Entomology/ Zoology/ Agriculture/ Botany/ Sericulture or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university with a minimum of 10 years research experience out of which 5 years should be in the capacity of Senior Research Officer/ Assistant Director (Rs.8000-275-13500) or equivalent.
• Assistant Director (Reeling & Spinning) : 1 post (Reserved for PH (Orthopaedically Handicapped) Disability 40% and above
  • Pay Scale : Rs. 8000-13500
  • Age : below 40 years (Ralaxable to SC/ST/OBC/PH candidate as per rules)
  • Qualification : High II Class Master's degree with atleast 55% marks in Textile Technology/ Textile Chemistry or Textile Engineering from a recognised university with 5 years research experience.

Last date for receipt of application : 10th July, 2007. Last date is 20th July, 2007 for candidates from far-flung areas.

• Junior Translator (Hindi) : 1 post
• Pay Scale : Rs. 5000-8000
• Age : below 30 years (Ralaxable to SC/ST/OBC/PH candidate as per rules)
• Qualification : 2nd Class Master's Degree in Hindi from a recognised university with Diploma in Translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa.
• Lower Division Clerk (LDC) : 3 posts (OBC-1,UR-2)
• Pay Scale : Rs. 3050-4590
• Age : below 25 years (Ralaxable to SC/ST/OBC/PH candidate as per rules)
• Qualification : Matriculation or equivalent qualification with a pass in Junior Grade Typewriting Examination conducted by State Technical Education Board with a speed of 30 words per minute in English Typewriting.
• Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) : 3 posts (OBC-3)
• Pay Scale : Rs. 3050-4590
• Age : below 25 years (Ralaxable to OBC candidate as per rules)
• Qualification : 7th standard pass with valid driving licence for heavy motor vehicles/light motor vehicles.
• Desirable : Two years experience in Driving.
