Union Public Service Commission

UPSC invites application on prescribed forms by 12th July 2007 (19th July 2007 for the candidates from far flung areas) for various posts in various Government of India Ministries and Departments in the prescribed format. The post are :

1. Two Service Engineer (Mech.) in Fishery Survey of India, Deptt. of Animal Husbandry Dairying and Fisheries, Agriculture Ministry, Pay Scale : Rs. 8000-13500/-, Qualification: Degree in Mechanical/ Marine Engg. of a recognised University or equivalent., Experience : three years experience in maintenance, repairs and running of marine diesel engines/ship repairs and maintenance., Age : 35 years
2. One Lecturer (Bahasa Indonesia) in School of Foreign Languages, Defence Ministry, Pay Scale : Rs. 8000-13500/-, Qualification: Master's 'Degree in Bahasa Indonesia from recognised Univ. or equivalent , Age : 40 years
3. One Lecturer (Pustho) in School of Foreign Languages, Defence Ministry, Pay Scale : Rs.8000-13500/-, Qualification : Master's Degree in Pustho Language from a recognised University or equivalent., Age : 35 years.
4. Two Civilian Gliding instructors in the Directorate General of NCC, Defence Ministry, Pay Scale : Rs. 8000-13500/-, Qualification: 10+2 pass or its equivalent with Physics and Mathematics from a recognised Board/Institution (ii) Flight Instructor Rating (Gliders) OR Private Pilot Lecence (Aeroplane)/Commercial Pilot Lecence (Aeroplane/Glider Pilot Licence/ NCC 'C' Certificate (Air Wing)) ; Age : 35 years
5. Four Asstt. Directors (Hindi Typewriting & Hindi Stenography) in the Central Hindi Training Institute, Deptt. of Official Language in Home Affairs Ministry, Pay Scale : 7500-12000/-, Qualification : Bachelor's degree of a recognised University or equivalent with Hindi as one of the compulsary subject or with Hindi medium. OR Bachelor's degree of a recognised University or equivalent with Hindi as one of the compulsary subjects at intermediate level or with additional Hindi qualification equivalent to Prabhakar, Sahitya Ratna etc. (ii) Proficiency in Hindi Shorthand and 40 words per minute in Hindi typewriting (iii) One year Diploma/Certificate course in Hindi Typewriting and Hindi Stenography conducted by ITI or other institutions under the aegis of the NCVT, Age : 35 years
