Applications are invited in the prescribed format for the faculty positions for Undergraduate degree and post-graduate degree programmes in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Textile Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, and also for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Master of Computer Applications in the Institute.

1. Mechanical : 17 posts (Professor -4, Asst. Professor -7, Lecturer-6)
2. Electrical : 12 posts (Professor -4, Asst. Professor -6, Lecturer-2)
3. Civil : 06 posts (Professor -2, Asst. Professor -2, Lecturer-2)
4. Textile : 07 posts (Professor -2, Asst. Professor -2, Lecturer-3)
5. Electronics : 06 posts (Professor -2, Asst. Professor -3, Lecturer-1)
6. Computer : 11 posts (Professor -2, Asst. Professor -1, Lecturer-8)
7. Production : 07 posts (Professor -3, Asst. Professor -2, Lecturer-2)
8. Structural : 07 posts (Professor -2, Asst. Professor -2, Lecturer-3)
9. MCA : 06 posts (Professor -1, Asst. Professor -3, Lecturer-2)

Minimum qualifications, experience and scale of pay required for various posts will be as prescribed by AICTE

Age: Not more than 55 years for Professor, 45 years Assistant Professor and 35 years for Lecturer as on last date of submission of application from with relaxation of 5 years to reserved category, where applicable.

Fee : The candidate must submit a Demand Draft (Rs.500/- for Open category candidates and Rs.300/- for backward class category candidates) in the name of “Director, VJTI, Matunga, Mumbai ” payable at Mumbai along with the application form.

Pay Scales : The scales of pay for the posts shall be as follows:

1. Professor: Rs: 16400-22400/-
2. Assistant Professor : Rs 12000-18300/-
3. Lecturer: Rs 8000-13500/-
