MP Power Generating Company Limited intends to induct around 91 Executive Trainees in various disciplines indicated below for Operation & Maintenance, including panel operations, and other support functions, for the existing and upcoming Thermal and Hydel Power Stations of the company.

1. Mechanical : 44 posts, Qualification : Engineering Degree in Mechanical
2. Electrical : 16 posts, Qualification : Engineering Degree in Electrical
3. Electronics : 12 posts, Qualification : Engineering Degree in Electronics/ Instrumentation / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Electrical,
4. IT : 04 posts, Qualification : Engineering Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology
5. Chemistry : 04 posts, Qualification : Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry
6. HR : 04 posts, Qualification : Two years Post Graduate Degree in Social Work (with HR as main subject)/ Personnel Management / Industrial Relation or two years MBA with specialization in HR/Personnel Management
7. Finance (MBA) : 01 post, Qualification : MBA with Finance as main subject – Two Year
   course
8. Accounts (CA) : 04 posts, Qualification : Graduate with qualifications of CA/ICWA from ICAI / ICWAI
9. Accounts (ICWA) : 02 posts, Qualification : Graduate with qualifications of CA/ICWA from ICAI / ICWAI

Selection Process : The eligible registered candidates will have to undergo a written test comprising of 40 questions on general knowledge, logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, etc. and 60 questions on the related Discipline, at test centers in Jabalpur, Indore, Bhopal and Gwalior. The written test is scheduled to be held in the first week of December 2007.

Application Fee : A Demand Draft/ Pay Order/ Banker Cheque of Rs. 500/- only payable in favour of Sr.Accounts Officer (COG&HS) MPPGCL, Jabalpur and payable at Jabalpur, as examination fee for General & OBC candidate. SC/ ST candidates are exempted from examination fee.
