RECRUITMENT OF SECTION OFFICER (AUDIT) EXAMINATION-2007

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold on 06/01/2007 an open competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Section Officer (Audit), Group 'B' Non-Gazetted post in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General in the Pay Scale of Rs.6500-10500 all over country.

• No. of Vacancies : 250 posts (UR-125, SC-38, ST-19, OBC-68)
• Age : 18 to 27 years as on 12/10/2007. Age relaxation as per Govt. Orders.
• Educational Qualification : Bachelor Degree of a recognised University.

Fee Payable : Rs.80/- (No fee for SC/ST,PH and Ex-Servicemen candidates) by means of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps only, available at head post office all over the country.

Last date of the submit of the application : 12/10/2007. Last date for candidate of far-flung area is 19/10/2007.

Scheme of Exam : The examination will consist of two parts (i) Written Exam carrying 300 marks in two papers , paper-I Objective type having English Language and General Awareness and Paper-II Conventional type of Arithmetic and (ii) Personality Test (Interview) will carry 100 marks
