Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up the following posts to. 1. Principal (UR), Pay Scale : Rs.10000-15200, Age Limit : 35-50 years, Qualification : Master's Degree from a recognised university with at least 45% marks in aggregate. B.Ed. in special Education of the Visually impaired Or B.Ed. in General Education with Diploma in Visual Impaired, Exprerience : 5 years as Lecturer in the grade Rs.8000-13500, 8 years as Vice principal in the grade Rs.7500-10500, 10 years as TGT in the grade Rs.5500-9000 OR Regardless of pay scales other conditions being same candidates having experience of teaching at TGT level and of serving as Vice Principal or Principal in a Private / NGO run schools will be eligible.
2. Lecturer in Education : 01 post for NIVH Regional Centre, at Chennai (SC/ST), Age : 40 years, Pay Scale : Rs.8000-13500/-, Qualification : master's Degree from a recognised University with not less than 50% marks and M.Ed. Degree in the specific area with not less than 55% marks or an equivalent grade of B in 7 point scale or an equivalent degree from a foreign university recognised by RCI.
3. Assistant Placement Officers (OBC), Age : 35 years, Pay Scale : Rs.4000-6000, Qualification : Graduate from a recognised university or equivalent, 2 years experience in placement of visually handicapped.
4. Proof Reader : 02 posts (VH, OBC), Age : 35 years, Pay Scale : Rs.4000-6000, Qualification : Graduate Degree from a recognised University (b) Knowledge of Standard English and Bharti Braille (c) Good knowledge of one Regional Language (d) English and Hindi as subjects at intermediate level.
5. Stenographer : 02 posts (UR,OBC) , Age : 25 years, Pay Scale : Rs.4000-6000, Qualification : Matriculation or equivalent (b) Speed in Shorthand (English) 100 WPM , (c) Speed in Typing 40 WPM
6. Information Technology and Assistive Technology Educator : 01 post on contract basis, Pay Scale : Rs.10000+ PM, Age : 35 years, Qualification : Bachelor Degree in Arts/Commerce/ Science/ Law Management from recognised university with at least 50% marks in aggregate (2) 2 years experience of work in the field of Computer Application for the Blind (3) Knowledge of working with JAWS Hardware and Software Maintenance.
7. Research Assistant : 01 post on Contract Basis, Pay Scale : Rs. 8250/- per month, Age : 35 years, Qualification : A second class Master Degree in one of Social Science. Two years research experience in a reputable Establishment. Basic qualification relaxation in exceptionally good/highly experience persons.
8. Lecturer TCTVH : 01 post on contract basis, Age : 40 years, Pay Scale : Rs.8250/- per month, Qualification : MA/ M.Sc. with B.Ed. (Special Education) from a recognised University or Equivalent or MA/M.Sc. with B.Ed. from a recognised University or Equivalent and Diploma in Special Education in Teaching Impaired Children Recognised by RCI. Minimum 2 years experience of teaching the visually impaired. Proficiency in Bharti and Standard English Braille (Grade II) and in use of special equipment and assistive devices required for the education of the visually impaired.
9. Library and Information Assistant : 01 post on contract basis, Age : 30 years, Pay : Rs.7500/- per month, Qualification : Graduation from a recognised university or equivalent (2) Diploma or Certificate in library Science (3) Proficiency in Braille
10. Assistant Producer : 01 post, Pay : Rs.6000/- pm, Age : 35 years, Qualification : Graduate with 2-3 years experience in the field of Audio recording.
11. Stereotype Operator : 01 post, Age : 35 years, Pay : Rs.6000 PM, Qualification : Graduate Degree from a recognised university (2) 2 years experience in a printing press preferably Braille Press. (3) Knowledge of Standard English and Bharti Braille (4) Good Knowledge of one Regional Language (5) Proficiency in Computer Application
12. Technician Grade II : 02 posts on contract basis, Age : 30 years, Pay : Rs.4575/- PM, Qualification : Matriculation or equivalent, 3 years experience in Tool Room Work, Should be able to read Engineering Drawings.
