Recruitment of Constable Male in Haryana Police
Applications are invited for 1940 posts of Constable male in Haryana Police as per details given below. Selected candidates on appointment as Constable shall be in the pay scale of Rs.3050-5325/- with usual allowances.
Vacancies: 1940 posts of Constable
Selection Centre : District Police Lines in 8 designated Districts.
Eligibility : Candidate should be the citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or a subject of Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee.
Character Certificate: No person shall be appointed to the post of Constable, unless he produces a certificate of character from the Principal Academic, Officer of the University, College, School or Institution last attended, and similar certificate from two other responsible persons, not being relative who are well acquainted with him in his private life and are unconnected with his university, college, school or institution.
Educational Qualification : 10+2 pass from Board of School Education, Haryana or any other Board recognised for all categories.
Age : General : 18 to 25 years as on 1st Oct 2007.
Physical standard : Height : 5'7" (male) and 5'2", Chest - 33" , Expanded - 34 1/2 "
Selection Procedure : Physical Efficiency Test and Interview/Personality Test who qualify PET.
Application Fee : Every application should be accompanied with original Treasury Challan or Indian Postal Order for payment of Rs.10/- for General category candidates. The amount is deposited in any Haryana Govt. Treasury under receipt head "0055-Police-Other-Receipt" or be paid by Indian Postal Order payable in favour of Chairman, Selection Board. No fee for SC/BC candidates of Haryana.
Where to Apply : A candidate can apply at any one of the Selection Centre located in District Police Lines.
How to Apply : Registration of the candidates for recruitment shall begin on 8th October 2007 at 9.00 AM at the designated Selection Centres. All the eligible candidates may submit their application forms in the prescribed format to the Chairman of Selection Board at any one of the Selection Centres, in person. The candidates are required to enclose a self-addressed envelope with Rs.5/- postage stamp affixed on it with the application form. Application Form can also be sent by registered post to the concerned Selection Centres not later than 23/10/2007.
