Direct Recruitment for Telecom Technical Assistant (TTA) competitive examination likely to be held in the month of December.

Bharat Sanchar Niagam Limited, Andaman and Nicobar Telecom Circle will recruit about 8 posts of Telecom Technical Assistants (TTAs) details of which are in the detailed advertisement :

Qualification : A Candidate must possess three (3) years Engineering Diploma in Telecommunication Engineering / Electronics, Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Radio Engineering / Computer Engineering / Instrument Technology / M.Sc (Electronics) from a recognized Institution/University on the date of application.

Age : 18 to 27 years as on 01/12/07. Relaxation as per rules.

Pay Scale : Rs. 7100-10100/- IDA pattern.

Application Fee : Rs. 500/- in the form of Bank Draft drawn in favour of Accounts Officer (Cash), BSNL, A&N Telecom Circle, payable at Port Blair along with the application in a single draft. SC/ST Candidates are exempted from the examination fee.

How to Apply : Application in A 4 size (30cm X 20cm) completed in all respects in the prescribed proforma along with the attested copies of the certificates in respect of qualification, age and community etc. should reach the Assistant General Manager (Admn), O/o the Chief General Manager, A&N Telecom Circle, BSNL, Telephone Bhawan, Port Blair - 744101 on or before 01/12/2007. The envelope containing the application must be duly super scribed with “Application for the Post of Telecom Technical Assistant” on top of the envelop Two self addressed stamped envelops of 27x12 cms and 2 passport size photos identical to the photo pasted in the application should be enclosed along with application.
