Applications are invited for filling up the following Group ‘C’ posts in ITB Police from male Indian citizens. Last date for receipt of application is 17th January 2008 (17/01/2008) for all States except for Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahaul & Spiti Distt. and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba Distt of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep for which last date is 2nd February 2008 (02/02/2008).

1. Venue of Recruitment : SS Bn, ITB Police, Saboli Camp, Distt. Sonepat (Haryana)
   • Constable (Radio Operator) : 68 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 3050-4590/-, Age : Between 20 to 23 years, Qualification : (i) Matric or equivalent with English, Mathematics, General Science (or physics and Chemistry). (ii) Preference shall be given to those who have certificate of telegraphic or operator from ITI or Ministry of Communication, subject to passing the Aptitude test.
   • Constable (Radio Technician) : 168 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 3050-4590/-, Age : Between 20 to 25 years, Qualification : (i) Matric or equivalent with English, Mathematics, General Science (or Physics and Chemistry) (ii) Three years Diploma in Radio or Electronics or Telecommunication or Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized Institution.
   • Constable (Line Man) : 24 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 3050-4590/-, Age : Between 20 to 23 years, Qualification : Matric or equivalent, Desirable : Diploma/ Certificate Course from Industrial Training Institute or any other recognized institution.

2. Venue of Recruitment : SHQ (GWL) ITB Police, Dehradun (Uttrakhand)
• Head Constable (Motor Mechanic) : 37 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 3200-4900/-, Age : Between 19 to 25 years, Qualification : Matric or equivalent, Desirable :
  Diploma/ Certificate Course from Industrial Training Institute or any other recognized institution. .
• Constable ((Motor Mechanic) : 20 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 3050-4590/-, Age : Between 18 to 25 years, Qualification : (i) Matric or equivalent (ii) Certificate from a recognized institution/ ITI in Automobile Engineering/Motor Mechanic trade.
• Constable (Driver ) : 323 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 3050-4590/-, Age : Between 20 to 25 years, Qualification : (i) Matric or equivalent (ii) Valid driving License for Light/ Medium/ Heavy vehicles with minimum 2 years experience in driving.

Fee : Application Fee will be Rs. 50/- for candidates belonging to General and OBC category only and no fee will be charged from SC/ST and Ex-Servicemen. The candidates would attach the Indian Postal Order or Crossed Bank Draft drawn in the name of the authorities mentioned above.

How to Apply : Eligible and interested candidates should send their Applications complete in all respects in the prescribed Proforma along with application fee, attested copies of the testimonials to the authority mentioned above on or before the prescribed last date. Two self addressed envelopes 4”X9” size with Rs.5/- postage stamps affixed thereon should also be attached with the application form. The application should be forwarded to Authority as mentioned above.
