UPSC Advt. No. 2/2008

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)

UPSC invites application on prescribed forms by 14th February 2008 (21st January 2008 for the candidates from far flung areas) for various posts in various Government of India Ministries and Departments in the prescribed format. The post are :

1. One Senior Scientific Officer (Grade-I) (Gentex Botany), in the Directorate General of Quality Assurance, Departmdnt of Defence Production, Defence Quality Assurance Service (OBC only), Defence Ministry, Pay Scale : Rs. 10000-15200/-, Qualification: Master’s Degree in Botany from a recognized University or equivalent., Experience : Four years’ practical experience in Production/ Development/ Quality Assurance in the field of Timber/Timber products, Age : 43 years
2. Three Senior Scientific Officers (Grade-II) (Electronics/ communication Engineering) in the Directorate General of Quality Assurance, Departmdnt of Defence Production, Defence Quality Assurance Service (SC-1, ST-1), Defence Ministry, Pay Scale : Rs. 8000-13500/-, Qualification: BE/B.Tech. in Electronics/ communication Engineering or M.Sc. in Physics with specialisation in Electronics from a recognized University or equivalent., Experience : Two years’ practical experience in Production/ Development/ Quality Assurance in the Electronics field, Age : 35 years
3. Two Specialist Grade-II (Pathology) in Non-Teaching speciality, Sub-Cadre of Central Health Service, Department of Health. (SC only) in Health and F.W. Ministry, Pay Scale : Rs. 10000-15200/-+NPA, Qualification: A recognised medical quali. (ii) Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in the concerned speciality i.e. M.D. (Pathology), MD (Pathology and Bacteriology), MD (Pathology with Bacteriology), M.Sc. (Pathology), M.Sc. (Medical Pathology), Ph.D. (Pathology), D.Sc. (Pathology), Speciality Board of Pathology (USA), D.C.P., DPB, Experience : Three years’ experience in the concerned speciality, Age : 50 years
4. One Assistant Registrar of Trade Marks in the Trade Marks Registry, Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks, Pay Scale : Rs.10000-15200/-, Qualification : A Degree in Law from a recognised University or equivalent. (ii) 2 years practice as a legal practitioner or five years experience in a State Judicial Service or in a legal department of a State Government or in the Central Government or in a Group A or Group B post in the Trade Marks Regisistry or in teaching law OR Masters degree in law of a recognised university or equivalent wit h3 years experience in teaching or research in law, Age : 40 years.
