Special Drive for SC/ST/PH posts of Lecturer in Physical Education
Applications are invited on the prescribed forms for the posts of Lecturers (Physical Education) in the pay scale of Rs.8000-13500/-
- Lecturer (Physical Education) : 07 posts (SC-4, ST-2,PH-1), Qualification : Good academic record with at least 55% of marks (50% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST or those who have passed their master's degree prior to 19/9/1991 and hold a Ph.D. Degree) or those who have cleared JRF/NET examination or an equivalent grade of B in the UGC point scale at the master's degree level in Physical Education from an Indian university or an equivalent foreign university recognised as equivalent to M.P.Ed. Degree of the University of Delhi. Candidates having Ph.D./M.Phil. degree in Physical Education are exempted from NET. Candidates having M.Phi. Degree will be eligible for UG Level Teaching only.
Preferred area of activities and special interest in academics as desirable are Kabaddi/ Kho-Kho/ Football/ Cricket/ Tennis/ Table-Tennis/ Swimming/ Badminton/ judo/ Wrestling/ Boxing.
Application forms can be obtained from the Institute office on all working days personally on payment of Rs.100/- (Rs.25/- in case of SC/ST) in cash or through post by sending DD/Pay Order or Rs.130/- (Rs.55/- for SC/ST) in favour of The Principal, IGIPESS payable at New Delhi along with a self addressed envelope of size 24cm x 10 cm.
The application form duly completed in all respects with attested copies of all educational certificates, testimonials, latest passport size photograph and other sports/caste certificates should reach to the Office of the Principal on or before one month from the date of advertisement (published on 12/04/08)
