Applications are invited on thick, foolscap paper in the prescribed format for the following post/posts. The number of posts may increase or decrease.

1. UP State Archaeology Department (Deptt. No.S-3/42)
   • Conservative Assistant: 01 posts (SC), Pay Scale: Rs.4500-7250/-, Qualification: Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering (b) 2 years experience of construction or conservation work, Age: 21 to 35 years.
2. Financial Management and Budget Directorate, UP (Deptt. No.S-5/4)
   • Research Assistant: 02 posts (SC-1, UR-1), Pay Scale: Rs.5500-9000, Qualification: Post Graduate degree in Statistics or Mathematical Statistics or Agricultural Economics or Mathematics or Economics or Commerce. Preference to the candidates with 2 years experience of handling statistical data, Age: 21 to 35 years
3. UP Electro Medical Maintenance Cell (Deptt. No.S-8/73)
   • Assistant Engineer: 01 posts (SC), Pay Scale: Rs.8000-13500/-, Qualification: Degree in Mechanical, Electronics or Electrical or (b) Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics and at least 7 years experience for the maintenance of hospital equipment., Age: 21 to 35 years
4. Rural Engineering Services Department UP (Special Recruitment) (Deptt. No.S-12/12 to 14)
   • Junior Engineer : 98 posts [Civil - 85 (SC-69, ST-16), Electrical - 12 (SC-6, ST-6), Mechanical - 14 (SC-7,ST-7)], Pay Scale :Rs. 5000-8000/-, Qualification: Three years Diploma in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering., Age: 21 to 35 years. (Relaxation as per rules)
5. Technical Education Department, UP (Deptt. No.S-12/20)
   • Head Textile Chemistry for Govt. Polytechnics UP,: 01 posts (UR), Pay Scale: Rs.10000-15200, Qualification: Degree with 55% marks in the respective discipline of Engineering or Technology or AMIE (2) 8 years professional or teaching experience out of which 5 years must be on the post of lecturer. 2 years relaxation in experience for ME/.M.Tech., Age: 28 to 45 years.
6. UP Minor Irrigation Department (Deptt. No.S-12/21)
   • Junior Engineer (Mechanical) : 31 posts (SC-8,ST-1,OBC-9,UR-13), Pay Scale : Rs.5000-8000, Qualification : Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Age : 21-35 years
7. Town and Country Planning Department of UP (Deptt. No.S-10/30)
   • Assistant Planners: 04 posts (OBC-4), Pay Scale: Rs.8000-13500, Qualification: Degree or postgraduate Diploma in Town and Country Planning or Associate Membership of Institute of town planners India/ American Institute of Town Planners, Institute of Town Planners (London) or equivalent, Age: 21 to 35 years.
8. Food and Civil Supplied Deptt., UP (Deptt. No.S-5/3)
   • Auditor: 08 posts (SC-1, OBC-3), Pay Scale: Rs.4500-7000, Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Commerce OR a Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy with 'O' level Diploma in Computer, Age: 21 to 35 years.
   • Auditor: 01 posts (OBC), Pay Scale: Rs.4500-7000, Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Commerce OR a Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy with 'O' level Diploma in Computer, Age: 21 to 35 years.
9. Trade Tax Deptt of UP
   • Investigator cum Computer: 07 posts (OBC-4), Pay Scale: Rs.5000-8000/-, Qualification: Post Graduate degree in Statistics or Mathematics or Economics or Commerce (2) Working knowledge of Hindi (3) 3 years experience in Statistical data., Age: 21 to 35 years.

Fee: Fee Rs.100/- (Rs.60/- for SC, ST, PH candidates) should be deposited through treasury challan of treasuries located in UP only, in the account head "0051, Public Service Commission 105 State Public Service Commission Examination Fee, 01-State Public Service Commission Examination Fee" and original challan be attached with the application. Fee through DD can also be deposited in favour of "Secretary, Public Service Commission, UP" at Allahabad.

How to Apply: Application should be submitted on the prescribed format only on thick foolscap paper in Devnagri Script. It may be typed / handwritten or photostat. Application completed in all respects must reach the “Secretary, (Deptt No..........) Public Service Commission, U.P., 10, Kasturba Gandhi Marg, Allahabad-211018” at the Commission’s office either by registered post or by hand up to 5.00 p.m. on or before 25th April 2008. One passport size attested photograph should be pasted on the format, a photograph may be attested by a gazetted officer/Head of the institution where the candidate has received education/Head of the Department where the candidate is at present employed. The application must be accompanied by self-attested photocopies of Higher Secondary/ High School certificates proof of age / Self-attested copy of Degree/Diploma or its equivalent.
