IIST invites applications for the following regular faculty positions for professionals who are willing to take up the challenges of academia and high technology research. The faculty has the unique opportunity of associating themselves in high technology R&D activities for the organisation :
- Professor (Rs.16400-20000) : Ph.D. in Digital Electronics/ Power Electronics/ Microprocessor/ VLSI with a minimum of 13 years academic/ research development experience.
- Assistant Professor (Rs.12000-16500) : Ph.D. in Engineering in with a minimum of 4 years academic/ research experience in .
Areas in which positions are opened :
- Electronics Engineering with specialisation in RF/ Microwave/ Antenna/ Digital Electronics/ VLSI/ Computer Science
- Aerospace Engineering with specialisation in Aerodynamics / Flight Mechanics
- Physics with specialisation in Theoretical or Mathematical Physics/ Atmospheric Sceince
- Mathematics with specialisation in Differential Geometry and Stochastic Processes/ Soft Computing and Functional Analysis
- Mechanical Engineering with specialisation in Machine Design
- Industrial Engineering and Production
Age : 40 years for Assistant Professor and 45 years for Professor position.
