Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for the posts Scientific Officer/ Engineer-SB (Programmer/ District Informatics Officer) and Scientific/ Technical Assistant-B in National Informatics Centre.
- Scientific Officer/ Engineer-SB (Programmer/ District Informatics Officer) : 16 posts ( UR-9, SC-2, ST-1, OBC-4) One vacancy reserved for Physically Handicapped (OH), Pay Scale : Rs. 7450-225-11500/-, Qualification : BE/ B.Tech./ MCA with first class or minimum 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent and specialization in Computer Science/ Computer related areas or (b) M.Sc in Computer Science with first class or at least 60% marks or equivalent or (c) Master’s degree in Physics/ Maths/ Statistics/ Operation Research with either Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from a Govt. recognized institution/ University or at least three years of experience in computer programming is essential. The Master’s degree and Post Graduate Diploma should be with 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade.
- Scientific/Technical Assistant-B : 12 posts (UR-6, SC-2, ST-1, OBC-3), Pay Scale : Rs. 6500-200-10500/-, Qualification : Master’s degree in Physics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Operations Research/ Economics (with specialisation in Information Technology) with atleast 60% marks in aggregate and One year experience of computer programming is essential or (b) Bachelor’s degree in Physics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Operations Research/ Economics (with specialization in Information Technology) either with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science/ Computer Applications (from a Govt. recognized Institution/ University) and one year experience in computer programming or with atleast 3 years experience in Computer Programming or equivalent is essential. The Bachelor’s degree and Post Graduate Diploma should be with 60% marks in aggregate or (c) B.Sc. in Computer Science or BCA with atleast 60% marks in aggregate and one year experience of computer programming is essential.,
Age : 18-30 years.

ReplyDeleteThe syllabus will b our MCA subjects like.. OS(Linux),DBMS,OOPS,C or Java and networking.....as per my knowledge... so do hard work and after that if u hv cleared, prepare for the J A C K. hope so u will get success... from my suggestion..

hi, even im appearing for the test on 22nd...please can any one tell me wheather the test will be objective or descriptive?...
ReplyDeletei know some people who had answered the test some 2 years back.they say theirs was descriptive wherein programs were asked 2 b writen...
which book i have to study administrator officer exam in oriental insurance company limited.
