1. Technical Education Department, UP (special recruitment) (Deptt. No.S-12/22)
   • Lecturer Mechanical Engineering: 01 posts (SC), Pay Scale: Rs.8000-13500/-, Qualification: Degree with 55% marks in Mechanical Engineering/ Technology or AMIE (ii) Knowledge of Hindi, Age: 21 to 40 years.
2. Minor Irrigation Department, UP: Junior Engineer: 118 posts, Qualification : 3 years diploma in Agriculture/ Civil/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, Pay Scale: Rs.5000-8000, Age: 21-35 years.
   • Junior Engineer (Agriculture) (Deptt. No.S-12/23) : 60 posts (SC-8, ST-1,OBC-25,UR-26)
   • Junior Engineer (Civil) (Deptt. No.S-12/24) : 35 posts (SC-5,OBC-15,UR-15)
   • Junior Engineer (Mechanical) (Deptt. No.S-12/25) : 23 posts (SC-3,OBC-10,UR-10)
3. Medical Education Department, UP
   • Lecturer Plastic Surgery : 01 post (UR), (Code : S-8/74), Pay Scale : Rs.8550-14600/-, Qualification : M.Ch. (Plastic Surgery) or an equivalent qualification (ii) 3 years teaching experience in the concerned subject as Resident/ Registrar/ Demonstrator, Age : 21 to 35 years
   • Lecturer assistant Health Engineer (SPM) : 01 post (UR), (Code : S-8/75), Pay Scale : Rs.8550-14600/-, Qualification : BE (Civil) or an equivalent (ii) PG Degree in respective subject, Age : 21 to 35 years
4. Forest Department, UP (Backlog) (Deptt. No.S-2/11)
   • Investigator-cum-Computer : 07 posts (SC-6,ST-1), Pay Scale :Rs. 5000-8000/-, Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Mathematics or Statistics. Preference to those who know computer programming, Age: 21 to 35 years.
5. Home (Police) Section-9 (Forensic Laboratory UP) (Deptt. No.S-14)
   • Senior Scientific Assistant : 01 post (SC) , Pay Scale : Rs.5000-8000, Qualification : M.Sc. Physics/ Physical Chemistry/ Math/ Chemistry/ Forensic Science/ Botany/ Zoology/ Biological Chemistry or B.Sc. with MA in Maths. Preference to the candidates having experience in Forensic Laboratory/ Chemical Analyser's Laboratory, Age : 25 to 35 years.
6. Public Works Department, UP (Deptt. No.S-6/7)
   • Assistant Engineer (Civil) : 306 posts (SC-64,ST-6,OBC-82,UR-154), Pay Scale : Rs.8000-13500, Qualification :Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, Age : 21-35 years

Fee: Fee Rs.100/- (Rs.60/- for SC, ST, PH candidates) should be deposited through treasury challan of treasuries located in UP only, in the account head "0051, Public Service Commission 105 State Public Service Commission Examination Fee, 01-State Public Service Commission Examination Fee" and original challan be attached with the application. Fee through DD can also be deposited in favour of "Secretary, Public Service Commission, UP" at Allahabad.

How to Apply: Application should be submitted on the prescribed format only on thick foolscap paper in Devnagri Script. It may be typed / handwritten or photostat. Application completed in all respects must reach the “Secretary, (Deptt No..........) Public Service Commission, UP, 10, Kasturba Gandhi Marg, Allahabad-211018” at the Commission’s office either by registered post or by hand up to 5.00 p.m. on or before 27th June 2008. One passport size attested photograph should be pasted on the format, a photograph may be attested by a gazetted officer/Head of the institution where a candidate has received education/Head of the Department where the candidate is at present employed. The application must be accompanied by self-attested photocopies of Higher Secondary/ High School certificates proof of age / Self-attested copy of Degree/Diploma or its equivalent.
