Applications on plain paper are invited from women candidates for the following posts of Lecturers in the pay scale of Rs.8000-13500 :
- Home Science (Textile & Clothing) : 01 post (UR)
- Physical Education : 01 post (UR)
- Physics : 01 post (UR)
- Chemistry : 01 post (UR)
- Mathematics : 01 post (UR)
- Economics : 01 post (UR) Temporary
One of the post out of above posts is reserved for visually handicapped.
Qualification : Good academic record with at least 55% (50% for who passed their Master's degree prior to 19/09/1991 and hold a Ph.D. degree) or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point with letter grades O,A,B,C,d,E& F at the Master's degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a Foreign University. (ii) Candidates who have qualified the NET . However, candidates having Ph.D. are exempted from NET for PG and UG level. Candidates having M.Phil degree in the concerned subject are exempted from NEt for UG level teaching only.
Qualification for Lecturer in Physical Education : Master's Degree in Physical Education / Sports (2 years course) of equivalent degree with atleast 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST candidates and those who have passed Master's degree prior to 19/09/1991 and hold a Ph.D. degree) or an equivalent grade in the 7 point scale with letter grades O,A,B,C,D,E & F plus a consistently good academic record. (ii) Candiates must have qualified the NET. (iii) Record of having represented the University/ College at the Inter University competitions or the State in National Championshps. (iv) Passed the Physical Fitness Test of 8 minutes run/walk test for 1000 mtrs upto age 30 years, 800 mtrs. for 40 years, 600 mtrs for 45 years, 400 mtrs for 50 years, However, before taking the test, a candidate shall produce a medical certificate, certifying that he/she is medically fit. Candiates with Master's desgree as one year D.P.Ed. and one year M.P.Ed. shall also be considered eligible.
