Applications are invited within 15/09/2008 for appointment to the post of Lecturer in the Pay Scale : Rs.8000-13500/- in : Centre for Himalayan Studies (Spl. Tibetan Language and Studies) : 01 post (SC), Law : 01 post (ST), Physics : 01 post (ST), Computer Science & Applications : 02 posts (ST-1,BC-1), Mathematics : 01 post (ST), Chemistry : 01 post(ST).
Essential Qualification : (i) Good academic record with at least 55% (50% in case of SC/ ST) marks in the subject or an equivalent grade of B+ at the Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a Foreign University.
Besides fulfilling the above qualification, the candidates must have cleared the eligibility test (NET/SET) for Lecturers conducted by the UGC, UGC-CSIR or similar tests accredited by the UGC. However, the candidates having Ph.D degree in the concerned subject are exempted from NET/SET.
