Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)
UPSC invites application on prescribed forms by 11/09/2008 (18th September, 2008 for the candidates from far flung areas) for various posts in various Government of India Ministries and Departments in the prescribed format. The post are :
- Farm Superintendent : 01 post in Farm Machinery, Training & Testing Institute, Department of Agriculture & Co-operation, Agriculture Ministry, Pay Scale : Rs. 6500-10500, Age : 30 years, Qualification : Master's Degree in Agriculture or Bachlor's Degree in agriculture with Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Agronomy from a recognised university or equivalent. 2 years experience in agronomical problems.
- Mineralogists (Senior) : 04 posts (OBC-1, UR-3) in in Geological Survey of India, Mines Ministry, Pay Scale : Rs. 10000-15200/- , Age : 40 years, Qualification : Master's Degree in Physics or Physical Chemistry of a recognised university or equivalent., Experience : 7 years experience in X-ray and Spectroscopy and other lines of mineral studies including research experience in these lines.
- Assistant Executive Engineer : 01 post in Central Ground Water Board, Water Resources Ministry, Pay Scale : Rs. 8000-13500/-, Age : 35 years, Qualification: Degree in Drilling OR Mining OR Mechnaical OR Electrical OR Civil Engineering Or Degree in Petroleum Technology from a recognised university or equivalent, Experience : 2 years experience in operation/ maintainance and repair of different types of tube-wells or Drilling Rigs.
