UPSC invites application on prescribed forms by 29/10/2009 (05/11/09 for the candidates from far flung areas) for various posts in various Government of India Ministries and Departments in the prescribed format. The post are :
  1. Assistant Registrar : 01 post in Central Herd Registration Scheme, Ministry of Agriculture
  2. Assistant Professor (Cardiology) : 07 posts (SC-2, ST-1, OBC-3) in Ministry of Health & Family Welfare
  3. Superintendent Mineral Economist (Intelligence) : 01 post in Indian Bureau of Mines, ministry of Mines
  4. Assistant Director Gr.II (Non-Technical) : 01 post in Textile Commissioner, Mumbai, Ministry of Textile
  5. Senior Research Assistant (Economics) re designated as Economic Officer Junior : 01 posts in Planning Commission
  6. Assistant Programmer : 18 posts in Central bureau of Investigation (CBI)
Last date is: 29/10/2009  

Fee payable is Rs.50/- in the shape of Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only.

  12. U can download form from UPSC website i.e format1 & format2
    fee is payable with CRPF stamp of Rs. 50/- from any Post Office and It must send through Ordinary Post Only

    you can send it by speed post/courier even bcoz upsc often has regulations like this for even cds,ias(prelims) etc..., so better send it by speed post .,no probs..

    ITS STRICTLY GIVEN IN APPLICATION THAT WE HAVE TO SEND IT ONLY BY "ORDINARY POST" ., WHEREAS ASSISTANT PROGRAMMERS AND OTHER VACANCIES IN CBI CAN BE SENT IN ANY OTHER FORMAT .,

  23. Hello everyone, I received the acknowledgement letter which was sent along with the application (for the post of Assistant Programmer in CBI) and my Roll No is written on it.
    Can anyone tell me what's the further procedure because there is no other information regarding it on the website.
