Recruitment in Examiner of Patents and Designs

Online Applications are invited for selection of 263 posts (UR-120, SC-39, ST-19, OBC-79) of Examiner of Patents and Designs in various disciplines in the Pay Scale of Rs. 15600-39100 grade pay Rs.5400/- (Group "A" Gazetted).

Qualification :  Masters Degree in Physics/ Chemistry/ Bio-Chemistry/ Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/ Bio-Technology/ Bio-Physics, OR Bachelor Degree in Engineering/ Technology of a recognised University or equivalent
Age: 35 years as on closing date.

Selection by an examination on 02/01/2011 at 17 centres all over India.

How to Apply: Apply online at DIPP Website only up to 19/10/2010 Now extended up to 29/10/2010. Take a printout of the submitted application and the application form, duly completed with requisite enclosures & fixing requisite postage stamp on the mailing envelope should be sent to the Sr. Controller of Examinations, Examination Unit, Human Resource Development Group, CSIR Complex, (Opposite Institute of Hotel Management), Library Avenue, Pusa, New Delhi 110012 only by registered post/speed post so as to reach this Unit on or before 5 p.m. on 25/10/2010 now extended up to 08/11/2010.

    I am Rahul.I have done Msc Bioinformatics.Am i eligible to apply for this post.The qualification given for the post is Master degree in biotechnology or equivalent.
    Bioinformatics ia a part of biotechnology in broader sense.

    hi anu u r not eligible for this post.
    but u r also not eligible if u have science background (phy or chem)at ur graduation level. but u can apply for this post if u have engineering degree at ur graduation...


    saurabh u r eligible for this post u can apply....

    mr anonymous no need for work ex. work ex is desirable not necessary.

    these are the branches for eligibility......
    if u have engg degree (B Tech)in any one of the above discipiline then u r applicable. no need to be pg.

    but other than engg degree u must have pg degree in the one of the subjects mentioned above....

    dear sir, i am done my graduation in engineering from computer science branch as my aggregate is 62.18 so does i am eligible for it also if i want to purchase the information of it in booklet so does the bank can give it and if yes then do tell me what is the procedure of getting it, and also tell that the booklet will be given on the spot or i have to wait for it for two three days..and also i dont have the desirable qualification but your essential qualification of BE so i am eligible or not.
