Directorate of Industries, Maharashtra Government, invites applications from eligible candidates for filling up the following posts  :
  • Industries Inspector (Lower Grade)/ Extension Officer (Industries) : 145 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200/-, Age : 18-33 years as on 01/07/2013.
    Application Fee : Rs. 250/- (Rs.150/- for reserved categories) in the form of Bank DD in favour of The Development Commissioner (Industries), Directorate of Industries, Maharashtra State Mumbai payable at Mumbai.


    How to Apply : Candidates should send the application in the prescribed format in an envelope super scribed in bold letters "Application for the post of Industries Inspector (Lower Grade)/ Extension Officer (Industries) Group-C"  by post or in person  at the General Manager, District Industries Centre in the respective  districts of Maharashtra where candidate wants to apply from 04/03/2013 to  25/03/2013 only.

      4.5. Educational qualffication:
      4.5.1. Candidate must possess a degree in science or a diploma in chemical technology
      or mechanical or electrical or chemical engineering or electronic or textile or
      leather or automobile, metallurgy, telecommunication or radio Engineering of an
      university / institute or any other qualification equivalent thereto, as recognized
      by Government.
      4.5.2. Preference is given to the candidates possessing a degree in engineering in any
      subject mentioned in 4.5.1 above i.e. B.Sc. and diploma holders will be at par.
      Degree holders and above will be rated higher as at 8.1

      may i apply for the post of industrial inspector?. because i am not belong to maharashtra and don't have knowledge of marathi in any dicipline. i have done MCA from RTU Kota Rajasthan.

      Sorry Tarun, Only domicile of Maharashtra are allowed to attend the exam. And there is a compulsory Paper for Marathi.
