Employment Notification

The National Institute of Siddha, Chennai - 47 is one of the National Institute established by the Government of India as an Autonomous Body under the Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare with a mandate of imparting an integrated Post Graduate Degree programme in Siddha and further research in the Siddha System of Medicine. The institute invites applications for filling up of the following posts on direct recruitment basis:

1. Professor - 6 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 14300-400-18400 + NPA, Qualification: PG qualification in Siddha recognised by CCIM or equivalent., Age limit: 55 yrs.
2. Associate Professor - 6 posts, Pay Scale: Rs. 12000-375-16500 + NPA, Qualification: PG qualification in Siddha recognised by CCIM or equivalent., Age limit: 50 yrs.
3. Lecturers - 12 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 8000-275-13000 + NPA, Qualification: PG qualification in Siddha recognised by CCIM or equivalent., Age limit: 40 yrs.
4. Senior Research Fellow (Statistics) - 1 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 10000-325-15200, Qualification: PG Degree in Statistics from a recognised university, Age limit: 50 yrs.
5. Private Secretary to Director - 1 post, Pay Scale: Rs. 6500-10000, Qualification: HSC from recognised State Board of education and ability to write 120/100 wpm in shorthand and 40/30 wpm in typewriting in English/Tamil respectively., Age limit: 40 yrs.
6. Office Superintendent - 1 posts, Pay Scale: Rs. 5500-9000, Qualification: A degree from a recognised university with at least seven years of administrative experience., Age limit: 50 yrs.
7. Accountant - 1 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 4500-7000, Qualification: B.Com. , preferably with a degree or diploma in Financial Management ., Age limit: 30 yrs.
8. UDC - 3 posts, Pay Scale: Rs. 4000-100-6000, Qualification: A degree from a recognised university with 5 yrs of administrative exp.., Age limit: 36 yrs.
9. LDC - 3 posts, Pay Scale: Rs. 3050-75-3950-80-4590, Qualification: Higher secondary certificate from a recognised state board with typing speed of 40 wpm in typewriting in English., Age limit: 28 yrs.
10. Stenographer - D - 3 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 4000-100-6000, Qualification: HSC from a recognised State Board and ability to write 80 wpm in shorthand and 30 wpm in typewriting in English/Hindi, Age limit: 28 yrs.
11. Metron - 3 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 8000-13500, Qualification: Certificate of Siddha Nursing Qualification and B.Sc. (Nursing) and registered with Nursing Council of India, Age limit: 40 yrs.
12. Assistant Metron - 1 post, Pay Scale: Rs. 6500-10500, Qualification: SSC from a State Board and Certificate of Siddha Nursing of not less than 2 years and registered with Nursing Council of India, Age limit: 35 yrs.
13. Staff Nurse - 4 posts, Pay Scale: Rs. 4500-7000, Qualification: HSC from the state board and Certificate of A-grade Nurse and registered with Nursing Council of India OR B.Sc. (Nursing) and registered with Nursing Council of India., Age limit: 30 yrs.
14. Museum Keeper - 3 posts, Pay Scale: Rs. 5000-8000, Qualification: PG degree in Botony or Zoology or Chemistry from a recognised university with exp. in the relevant field., Age limit: 28 yrs.
15. Pharmacists - (Siddha) - 4 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 4500-7000, Qualification: HSC from a state board with Science and English and (2) Certificate in Siddha Pharmacy/dispensing course of min. two-yr duration, Age limit: 30 yrs.
16. Radiographer - 1 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 4500-7000, Qualification: Pass in the CRA Examination provided that preference shall be given to a candidate having a degree of BA/B.Sc./M.Sc./MA/B.Sc. (Hons.)/BA(Hons.) from a recognised university with physics as main subject., Age limit: 28 yrs.
17. Lab Technician - 3 posts, Pay Scale: Rs. 4000-6000, Qualification: HSC from a state board with two yrs vacation course in laboratory technology OR Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology of minimum one-year duration from a recognised university/institution or Degree in Science with Biology, Chemistry, and English from a university., Age limit: 35 yrs.
18. Junior ECG Technician - 1 post, Pay Scale: Rs. 4000-6000, Qualification: PUC under old regulations or 10+2 with eligibility for a university course of study and training in operating and maintaining ECG apparatus of min. 6 months duration ., Age limit: 28 yrs.
19. X-Ray Lab Technician - 1 post, Pay Scale: Rs. 3200-4900, Qualification: SSC from a recognised State board with a vocational course in X-Ray technology., Age limit: 35 yrs.
20. Dark Room Assistant - 1 post, Pay Scale: Rs. 3050-4590, Qualification: Certificate of Training in Dark Room Assistant ., Age limit: 28 yrs.
21. Dark Room Assistant (OT) - 1 post, Pay Scale: Rs. 3050-4590, Qualification: Certificate of Training in Dark Room Assistant ., Age limit: 28 yrs.
22. Lab Assistant - 2 posts, Pay Scale: Rs. 3050-4590, Qualification: HSC from a State Board with the vocational course of or Diploma in Laboratory Technology OR Degree in Science with Biology/Physics/Chemistry and English ., Age limit: 29 yrs.
23. Lab Attendant - 2 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 2610-3540, Qualification : SSC from a recognised board ., Age limit : 28 yrs.
24. Store Attendant - 1 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 2610-3540, Qualification : SSC from a recognised board ., Age limit : 28 yrs.
25. Pharmacy Attendant - 2 posts, Pay Scale: Rs. 2610-3540, Qualification: SSC from a recognised board ., Age limit: 28 yrs.
26. Library Clerk - 1 post, Pay Scale: Rs. 3050-4590, Qualification : (1) first class Degree in any discipline of the university (2) Diploma in Library Science from a recognised university (3) 5 yrs exp. ., Age limit: 28 yrs.
27. Senior Library Clerk - 1 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 2750-70-3800-75-4400, Qualification : HSC from a state board ., Age limit : 28 yrs.
28. Incinerator Operator - 1 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 4000-6000, Qualification : Diploma in Electrical Engineering., Age limit : 28 yrs.
