Walk-in-Interview for Ad-Hoc appointment on tenure basis for Research Associates, Project Assistatns, Supervisors, Technicians and Lab Assistant

Indian Oil Corporation Limited, the largest commercial undertaking in India and Fortune “Global 500” company requires Qualified personnel on Ad-hoc Basis to meet the requirement of specific job for its Research & Development Centre located at Faridabad, which are temporary in/time bound in nature for specific duration as mentioned below:

  1. Study on Bio-Fuel Policy issues - 2 year duration
    • Research Associate with Ph.D. (Synthetic Organic Chemistry) qualification from a recognised university/institute with at least 60% marks in Graduation as well as in Post-graduate. The candidate should have research expertise in synthesis of organic compounds through catalytic route during Ph.D. (Code: R&D/Ad-hoc/13)
    • Research Associate with Ph.D. (Plant Biotechnology) qualification from a recognised university/institute with at least 60% marks in Graduation as well as in Post-graduate. The candidate should have research expertise in cultivation/growth of algae/ micro algae/ Jatropha during Ph.D. (Code: R&D/Ad-hoc/14)
    • Research Associate with ME/M.Tech. in chemical Engineering from a recognised university/institute with at least 60% marks in Graduation as well as in Post-graduate. The candidate should have research expertise in synthesis/development heterogenerous catalysts and running of pilot plants OR Ph.D. (Chemical Engineering) qualification from a recognised university/institute with at least 60% marks in Graduation as well as in Post-graduate. The candidate should have research expertise in synthesis/development heterogenerous catalysts and running of pilot plants during Ph.D. (Code: R&D/Ad-hoc/15)
  2. Development of energy efficient natural gas burner - 23 months
    • Supervisor with B.Sc. qualification & with min. 1 year experience in combustion area OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Code:R&D/Ad-hoc/16)
    • Lab Asst. with ITI (Fitter) qualification (Code:R&D/Ad-hoc/17)
  3. Field Research & Performance demonstration of developed LPG commercial burner - 17 months duration
    • Supervisor with B.Sc. qualification & with min. 1 year experience in combustion area OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Code:R&D/Ad-hoc/18)
    • Technician/ Fitter with ITI (Fitter) qualification (code:R&D/Ad-hoc/19)
  4. Development of energy efficient biogas burner - 30 months duration
    • Technician/Fitter with ITI (Mechinist) qualification (code:R&D/Ad-hoc/20)
  5. Characterisation of Nepthenic Acids in High TAN Crude Oils - one year duration
    1. Project Asstt. with M.Sc. (Chemistry) qualification (Code:R&D/Ad-hoc/21)
  6. Development of lubricants & greases and their testing / evaluation - 2 years duration
    • Project Asstt. with M.Sc. (Chemistry) qualification (Code:R&D/Ad-hoc/22)

Emoluments (Consolidated) : Research Associate - Rs.18000/- per month, Project Assistant/ Supervisor - Rs.9500/- per month, Technician/ Fitter/ Lab. Asstt. - Rs.4200/- per month
