CENTRAL POLICE ORGANISATIONS EXAMINATION-2007 FOR RECRUITMENT OF SUB-INSPECTOR

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold on 16/12/2007 an open competitive examination on All-India basis for recruitment to the posts of Sub-Inspectors in Central Police Organisations in the pay scale of Rs.5500-9000 in the following Central Police Organisation :

1. Sub-Inspectors in Border Security Force (BSF) : Post Code A, 270 posts
2. Sub-Inspectors in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) : Post Code B, 262 posts
3. Sub-Inspectors in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) : Post Code C, 283 posts
4. Sub-Inspectors in Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) : Post Code D, 117 posts
5. Sub-Inspectors in Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) : Post Code E, 160 posts

• No. of Vacancies: 1092 posts
• Age : 20 to 25 years as on 14/09/2007. Age relaxation of 5 years to SC/ST candidates and 3 years to OBC candidates.
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in any stream from a recognised University or equivalent.

Scheme of Exam : The examination will consist of two parts (i) Written Exam carrying 500 marks and (ii) Personality Test (Interview) will carry 100 marks

Fee Payable : Rs.100/- (No fee for SC/ST and Ex-Servicemen) by means of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps only, available at head post office all over the country.

Last date of the submit of the application: 14/09/2007. Last date for the candidate of the far-flung area is 21/09/2007.
