North Malabar Gramin Bank is one of the 105 Regional Rural Banks operating in the country established under Regional Rural Banks Act 1976. The ownership is vested with The Govt of India, Govt of Kerala and Syndicate Bank.

Applications are invited for appointment to the cadres of Officer Scale-I and Clerk-Cum-Cashier in North Malabar Gramin Bank.

• Officer Scale-I : 72 posts (SC-10 ,ST-10 ,OBC-19 ,Gen-33), Qualification : Degree of recognised University in any discipline or its equivalent with 60% marks (55% in respect of SC/ST/OBC candidates). b) Knowledge in English and proficiency in Malayalam is essential.c) Certificate in MS WORD AND MS EXCEL is essential. d) Candidates with higher qualifications in Computer/ Accounting/ Management will get preference, Age :
  20 - 26 years as on 01/12/2007., Pay Scale : Rs.10000 -18240/-
• Clerk-cum-Cashier : 152 posts (SC-15 ,ST-1, OBC-41, UR-95), Qualification : a) A degree from any recognised University in any discipline or its equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC) in aggregate. OR b) A pass in Higher Secondary School examination of 10+2 or 10+2+3 pattern/ 11th standard of 11+3 pattern/ Pre-degree or intermediate or any equivalent examination with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC) in aggregate. OR c) Pass with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC) in aggregate in Matriculation/Senior School Certificate (old pattern) or equivalent. d) Diploma in Banking recognised by State or Central Government is preferred.e) Proficiency in local language (Malayalam) is essential. f) Knowledge of English is preferred. g) Certificate in MS WORD AND MS EXCEL is essential.h) Candidates with higher qualifications in Computer/ Accounting/ Management will get preference., Age : 2-26 years as on 01/12/2007., Pay Scale : Rs.4410-13210/-

Fee : For SC/ST/PWD candidates : Rs. 50/- for each post and for all others : Rs. 200/- for each post. Requisite application fee must be paid only by means of Account Payee crossed Bank Pay Order/ Bank Demand Draft issued by a Scheduled Bank payable at Kannur in favour of "NORTH MALABAR GRAMIN BANK - RECRUITMENT PROJECT - 2007." .
