Recruitment of Scientist vacancy in SETS Chennai 




Society for Electronic Transactions and Security (SETS), Chennai is a Society, dedicated to research and development in the field of Information Security. It was formed as a Government of India initiative and is functioning under control of a high power Apex Body with Principal Scientific Advisor (PSA) to Government of India as its President.

SETS is looking for the appointment of 10 young Scientists to work in the challenging area of Cyber
Security and Cryptology. The Positions are temporary but likely to continue. The initial appointment will be made for a period of four to five years, on contract basis, with probation of one year. The contract may be renewed every five years based on satisfactory performance as recommended by the committee constituted for this purpose :

  • Scientist  : 10 posts on contract basis, Remuneration : ₹ 86854/- per month for stage 8 and ₹ 102785/- per month for Stage 9, Age : 28 years state 8 and 35 years for stage 9

₹ 1000/-  either through the NEFT in Indian Bank or by Demand Draft in favour “Society for Electronic Transactions and Security” payable at Chennai.
