The Indian School of Mines University established in 1926, invites applications from Indian nationals for the following positions:

• Asstt. Workshop Superintendent : 01 post, Qualification : Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Production Engg with 5 years / 8 years experience respectively in reputed Workshop/ Industry/ Defence/ Border Roads, Pay Scale : Rs.8000-275-13500/-, Age : 45 years
• Assistant Registrar : 02 posts (OBC-1), Qualification : Postgraduate degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade. Desirable : Experience in office management, personnel, finance and accounts, purchase and stores, computer application and office automation., Pay Scale: Rs.8000-275-13500/-, Age : 35 years
• Horticulturist : 01 post, Qualification : BSc (Agriculture) with 60% marks and Horticulture as specialisation; (2) 5 years experience of working as Horticulturist. ,Desirable: MSc(Agri.) with specialisation in Horticulture., Pay Scale ; Rs.5500-175-9000/- , Age : 30 years
• Hindi Translator : 01 post, Qualification : MA (Hindi) with 60% marks; 5 years experience in translating English documents into Hindi & vice versa, Pay Scale : Rs.4500-125-7000/-, Age : 30 years

How to Apply : rescribed application forms may be obtained from the office of the Deputy Registrar (Estt), ISM University, Dhanbad-826004 by sending a crossed demand draft of Rs.100/- drawn in favour of Registrar, Indian School of Mines University, along with a self- ddresed stamped (Rs.30/-) envelope of 30cmX12cm size. SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying any application fee and provision for reservation of SC/ST/PH/OBC will be applicable as per Government of India Rules. Application should be submitted with necessary fees to the Deputy Registrar(Estt), ISM University, Dhanbad 826004 upto 31 March 2008.
