Teacher recruitment for SSA Punjab 2008

State Project Director, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) Authority, Punjab, applications are invited from the eligible candidates on a contractual basis as per details given below :

1. JBT/ ETT Teacher : 678 posts, Remuneration: Rs.12000, Qualification: 10+2 from recognised board/ university (ii) Elementary Teacher training 2 years course of Punjab State recognised by Punjab govt. or equivalent diploma as recognised by Punjab Govt.
2. Secondary Teachers
   1. Science Master/Mistress : 135 posts, Remuneration : Rs.13500/-, Qualification : B.Sc. Medical and B.Ed. with one of the teaching subject as Science from recognised university.
   2. Science Master/Mistress : 135 posts, Remuneration : Rs.13500/-, Qualification : B.Sc. Medical and B.Ed. with one of the teaching subject as Science from recognised university.
   3. Math Master/Mistress : 135 posts, Remuneration : Rs.13500/-, Qualification : Graduate from a recognised university with Mathematics as one of the elective subject in all the three years of Graduation with B.Ed.
   4. Social Science Master/Mistress : 135 posts, Remuneration : Rs.13500/-, Qualification : BA with the subject combination in all the three years of graduation as approved by Govt. from time to time and B.Ed. Any two subjects from History, Pol. Sc., Economics, Geography, Public Administration, Psychology and Sociology.

In case of non-availability of ETT Candidates the candidates with BA/B.Sc./B.Com. plus B.Ed. from Recognised universities will be considered.

Age : 18-42 years as on 01/01/08. Reservation and age relaxation as per rules.

Selection Process : The selection will be strictly on merit basis.

Application Fee : Rs.250/- (Rs.125/- for SC) has to be deposited in savin bank account no. 65023202930 in the name of CDAC Mohali (Application fee account) with any branch of State Bank of Patiala accross Punjab or Chandigarh.
