10+2 Technical Entry Scheme Course - 21 Commencing from July 2009

Applications are invited from unmarried male who have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects and fulfill the eligibility conditions for the grant of permanent commission in the Indian Army.

  • Vacancy : 85 posts
  • Qualification : 10+2 (PCM) with 70% marks.
  • Age : 16 and half to 19 and half years i.e. born between 01 Jan 1990 and and 01 Jan 1993 (both days inclusive)
  • Physical Standard: min. height 152 cm and weight 42 kg., better eye 6/6 and worst eye 6/18
  • Type of Commission : On susccessful completion of 4 years of the course cadets will be granted Permanent Commission in the Army in the rank of Lt. in Arms/Services as per discretion of Army Hq.
  • Pay Scale : Candidates will be given a stipend of Rs. 8000/- as is admissble to NDA candidates in the rank of lt and entitled to pay sclae of Rs. 8250-300-10500/- (old scales) (Pay has been revised to new pay scales after Sixth Pay Commission recommendations implementation)

Method of Selection: Only selected (shortlisted) candidates will be called for Service Selection Board (SSB) interview at Allahabad, Bhopal and Bangalore for fives selection process. In which candidates will be put through Psychological test, Group Test and Interview.

How to Apply: Applicaiton Forms in accordance with the prescribed format attested by a Gazetted Officer of the Central/State Govt./1st Class Magistrate etc., colour paper and complete in all respects with superscription on the envelope " APPLICAITON FOR 10+2 (TES) COURSE SER. Qualification : Three years Diploma in Radio/Tele-communication/ Electrical/ Electronics/ IT/ Electrical Communication Engineering recognised by Govt. of India OR Degree with Physics as one of the subjects from a recognised University OR Degree in Engineering in the relvant field from a recognised University OR Diploma in Sound Recording and Sound Engineering awarded by FTII, Pune.

Desirable : Knowledge of Wireless or Radio Engineering

Age : 18-27 years as on 07/10/2008. Age relaxation as per Govt. orders.

Selection Procedure : The recruitment will be made on the basis of written test of two hour duration on 21/12/2008 at 11.00 AM at different centres in India. The written test will consist of one paper having 175 objective type questions based on the syllabus of 3 years Diploma courses/B.Sc.(Physics) and 25 questions on GK and Current Affairs. negative marking for wrong answer.

How to Apply : Applications should be submitted in the prescribed OMR Application Forms. The application fee is Rs.100/- (Rs.25/- for SC/ST/PH/Ex-Serviceman), which can be procured from the main branch of SBI from the list provided in the detailed advt. upto 30/09/2008. The bank will charge Rs.10/- extra for their service. COMBINED MEDICAL SERVICES EXAMINATION 2008

The Union Public Service commission will hold the Combined Medical Services Examination 2008 on 18th January, 2009. The examination will be held at various centres across the country.
Conditions of Elgibility

(A) Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status:
  • Age Limit : Candidates must not have attained the age of 32 years on 1st January, 2009. Relaxation in the upper age limit as per Govt. of India rules.

(B) Educational Qualifications:

  • A candidate must have passed the written and practical parts of final MBBS Examination.

Application form: The candidates must apply in the Common Application Form devised by the commission for its examination, which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Ooffices throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 20/-

Fee : Rs. 100/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from payment of fees. OBC candidates are required to pay full fees.
