The laboratory is looking for dynamic and motivated scientists and technical personal. Applcations are invited from the citizens of India for filling up the positions at National Physical Laboratory (NPL) , New Delhi as per details given below:

1. Scientist Gr.IV(4) -01(One) - Atmospheric Sciences
2. Scientist Gr.IV(3) -01(One) - Physics or related fields
3. Scientist Gr.IV(2) –04(Four) - Physics or related fields
4. Scientist Gr.IV(2) -01(One) - Computer Science
5. Scientist Gr.IV(2) -01(One) - Cryogenic Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering
6. Scientist Gr.IV(1) –03(three) - Mechanical Engineering
7. Scientist Gr.IV(1) –03(Three) - Electronics Engineering
8. Scientist Gr.IV(1) –01(One) - Atmospheric Environmental Monitoring and Processes related fields
9. Scientist Gr.IV(1) –01(One) -Chemistry
10. Scientist Gr.IV(1) –05(Five) - Physics or related fields
11. Scientist Gr.IV(1) -01(One) - Computer Science

• Last date for receipt of applications is 20.10.2006.

Completed application(s) in all respects, supported by attested copies of certificates of educational qualifications, experience, etc along with one recent passport size photograph duly signed and affixed together with an application fee (if applicable) of Rs.100/- (Rupees One hundred only) in the form of crossed Demand Draft valid for at least 6 months in favour of Director, National Physical Laboratory payable at New Delhi is to be sent in an envelope superscribing Application for the post of Scientist Group-IV to the Controller of Administration, National Physical Laboratory, Dr. K S Krishnan Marg, New Delhi –110012, so as to reach on or before 20.10.2006. However, candidate belonging to SC/ST/Physically Handicapped category and regular employees of CSIR exempted from payment of fee. Separate applications along with appropriate fees are to be made for different posts if a candidate is desirous of applying for more than one post.
