Recruitment of Health Officer by Tamil Nadu PSC





TAMIL NADU PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION

Applications are invited for the post of Health Officer. The detail is as follows:
  • Post : Health Officer in Tamil Nadu Public Health Service. Vacancies for year 1999 to 2006.
  • Pay Scale : Rs. 9100 - 14050/-
  • No. : 31 posts
  • Fees : Rs. 125 (Examination Fee) + Rs. 30 (Application Fee). The fee should be paid only through Postal Receipt obtained from any one of the Head Post Offices.
  • Age : Minimum 18 years and Maximum 35 years.
  • Educational Qualification: B.Sc. Degree of a recognised university. OR Diploma in Sanitary Or in Public Health or equivalent. If none found then MBBS or Diploma in Medicine and Surgery may also be considered.
  • Selection Procedure : Written test followed by an interview.

How to Apply : Candidates can either submit their applications online at http://www.tn.gov.in/tnpsconline or through applications obtained from the Commission’s Office/Head Post Offices.

Last date: The candidates can register their particulars online till 5 P.M. on 23rd March, 2007. They will have to take a printout of the filled-up application form, paste one recent passport size photograph, enclose the Demand draft towards the Examination Fee and Application Fee and send it to the Commission’s Office on or before 26th March, 2007 - 5.45 P.M.

Before taking the printout of the Application Form, make sure that both Top and Bottom margins of the print area will have only 5 mm. (This can be adjusted using File->Page Setup option of the browser.)
