Punjab National Bank (PNB), a leading public sector bank invites application from Indian citizens for the 586 posts of Offocer cadre.

Posts & Vacancies:

  1. Management Trainee : 200 posts (JMG Sclae-I Rs.10000-19920), Age: 30 years as on 01/01/2007, Qualification : Graduation in any discipline with 60% marks from a recognised university.
  2. Officer (Information Technology) : 75 posts (JMG Sclae-I Rs.10000-19920) Age: 30 years as on 01/01/2007, Qualification : Degree in engineering in the field of Computer Science/ IT/ Electronics or MCA from a recognised university.
  3. Officer (IT) Banking Domain : 250 posts (JMG Sclae-I Rs.10000-19920) Age: 40 years as on 01/01/2007, Qualification : Graduation in any discipline.
  4. Financial Analyst : 17 posts (MMG Scale-II Rs.13820-11280) , Qualification : Graduation from a recognised university with pass in final exam of CA or ICWA or equivalent exam.
  5. Security Officer : 44 posts (MMG Scale-II Rs.13820-11280) Age: 35 years as on 01/01/2007, Qualification : An officer with 05 years commissioned service in Army/Navy/ Air force or Police officer not below the rank of Assistant Supdt. of Police/ Dy. supdt. of Police with 05 years of service or Officers of identiacal work in para military forces with 05 years of service.

Reservation : JMG Scale-I (Gen-265, SC-79, ST-39, OBC-142) and MMG Scale-II (Gen-32, SC-09, ST-07, OBC-13)

Relaxation in Age : SC/ST- 5 years, OBC-3 years, Kashmir migrant -5 years, PH - 10 years and officers from rural bank-5 years

Application Fee: General & OBC - Rs.300/- (Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PC candidates) Requisite Application Fee be sent by Demand Draft/Bank's Pay Order favouring “PNB Recruitment Account - MTs Project” payable at Mumbai only for Management Trainees and in favour of "PNB Recruitment Account - Specialists Officers Project" payable at Mumbai.

Selection Procedure: The selection will be on the basis of written test and interview. All eligible candidates will be called for a written examination which will be both Objective and Descriptive in nature.

    Dear Sir,

    Kindly clarify me that, I am an ex serviceman of Indian Navy and at the time of release from service I have been issued a Trade Certificate in which I have been considered as Security Offcier(As per National Clasification of Occupation,NCO code-573.10). Shall I be eligible to apply for security offcier post needed by your organisation?

    After intimation only I can submit my application as I was not in commissioned rank. My last rank was Petty Offcier Radio(Special).
