Applications in prescribed form are invited from Indian nationals for filling up the following teaching (faculty) posts with UGC pay scale in the University. The vacancy positions are shown against each department/post within bracket:

1. Professor - Biotechnology (1)
2. Reader - Biotechnology [2 (SC-1)], Physical Education and Sports Science (1), Manipuri Dance (SC-1), Journalism and Mass Communication (1).
3. Lecturer - Biotechnology (3) , Physical Education and Sports Science
   [3 (ST- 1)], Manipuri Dance (3), Journalism and Mass ommunication [3(SC-1)].

Application form and details of essential qualifications, experience, specialisation etc. can be downloaded from the website or can be obtained from the University cash counter on payment of Rs. 20/- in cash.

The duly filled in application form in duplicate with attested documents and a fee of Rs. 200/- in the form of Bank Draft of SBI drawn in favour of Registrar, Manipur University, Canchipur, payable at SBI, MU, Canchipur (Code No. 5320) or cash receipt of the University cash counter should be submitted in an envelope superscribed with the name of the post applied for with Advertisement No. etc. to the Registrar, Manipur University, Canchipur, Imphal – 795003 on or before the 21st May, 2007.
