Opening : Logistics / Freight Forwarding business is an important activity of the Company with multi-locational presence and a proven record of performance and service excellence. Job openings are available in this SBU at various locations in Junior / Middle Management Cadres.
Age: Upto 35 years as on the date of notification.
Qualification : Alteast Graduates with requisite accreditations for Cargo Handling / Customs Clearances. Persons with Management qualifications in Marketing / Logistics will be preferred. Hands-on working experience in Computer is essential.
Experience : The prospective candidate should have 3 – 10 years of focused experience in marketing of cargo services, operation of import / export of air / sea cargo, consolidation & break bulking, clearing & forwarding, customs and claims, collections, administrative functions, etc. He should have good communication skills and be capable of effectively dealing with customers / associates / shipping / air lines across all levels, be a good negotiator.
Compensation : Depending on qualification and experience, candidates will be selected for appropriate positioning in the Junior / Middle Management Cadres with the total compensation package ranging between Rs.4.30 lakhs and Rs.5.60 lakhs per annum. Salary revision is due effective January, 2007.
Reservation : The Government of India directives in the matter of reservations to SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped shall apply. Candidates belonging to this category should specifically mention the same in their applications.
Relaxation in age exists in the case of SC / ST / OBC and Physically Handicapped candidates as per Government of India Directives.
