UPSC invites applicaiton on prescribed forms by 17th May 2007 (24th May 2007 for the candidates from far flung areas) for various posts in various Government of India Ministries and Departments in the prescribed format. The post are :
  1. One Assistant Professor (ENT) at JIPMER, Pondichery in Ministry of Helth & Family Welfare, Department of Health, Specialis Grade-II of Central Health Service in the Teaching Specialist sub-Cadre Pay Scale : Rs. 10000-15200/-, Qualification: (i) A recognised Medical Degree of a recognsied University or equivalent (ii) Post Graduate Degree qualification in the speciality i.e. M.S. (Oto-Rhino-Laryngology/Speciality Board of Laryngology (USA) or equivalent, Experience : Three years teaching experience as Tutor/ Demonstrator/ Lecturer/ Registrar/ Sr. Resident in the concerned speciality in a recognised Medical college after aqcquiring the requisite post-graduate degree qualification., Age : 50 years
  2. One Assistant Government Examinaer of Questioned Docements in the office of Government Examiner of Questioned Documents under the Directorate of forensic Sciecne, Ministry of Home Affairs. Pay Scale : Rs. 8000-13500/-, Qualification: Master Degree in Cehmistry or Physics or forensic Science from a recognised university or equivalent (ii) Three years practical experience in Scientific Examination of questioned documents under Central/ State Government. OR Bachelor's Degree in Physics/ chemistry from a recognised university or equivalent (ii) Five year's practical exp. in Scientifica Examination of questioned documents under Central/state Government., Age : 40 yrs.
  3. Eleven Deputy Directors of Mines Safety (Mining) in the Directorate General of Mines Safety, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Pay Scale : Rs. 8000-13500 Qualification: Degree in Mining Engineering. (ii) First Class Mine Manger's Certificate granted under the Coal Mines Regulations, 1957 or under the Metalliferous Mines Regulation, 1961 , Experience : Seven year's experience in mining in large and mechanised under-ground mines. , Age : 38 yrs, Desirable : Post Graduate Degree in Mining Engineering .
  4. One Assistant Directors (Industrial Hygiene) in Ministry of Labour & Employment, Directorate General Factory Advice Service and Labour Institutes. Pay Scale : Rs. 8000-13500 Qualification: Master's Degree in Chemistry or Bio-Chemistry of a recognised university or equivalent., Experience : three year's research practical experience in industrial hygiene., Age : 40 yrs
