Special Recruitment drive for OBC

Applications under Special Recruitment Drive for eligible OBC candidates are invited by VNIT for the post of Lecturers in Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Metallurgical, Mining, Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Architecture, Applied Physics, Mathematics and Humanities.

Scale of Pay : Rs. 8000-275-13500/-

Qualification :

• Engineering / Technology : First Class Master's Degree in appropriate branch of Engineering (Engg.) / Technology (Tech.) OR First Class Bachelor's Degree in the appropriate Branch of Engineering / Technology or equivalent, valid GATE score, minimum 75 percentile; to complete M.Tech. / ME within 5 years failing which the increments will be stopped until the postgraduate degree is earned.
• Architecture : First class Bachelor's Degree in Architecture/Planning (ii) Registration with Council of Architecture.
• Applied Physics/ Mathematics / Humanitites : Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA i.e. 6.25 at Master's Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a Foreign University. Besides fulfilling above qualifications candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for lecturers conducted by UGC / CSIR.
