DEPUTY SUPERINTENDENT OF POLICE (DSP) EXAMINATION-2007

The Punjab Public Service Commission invites Applications from Candidates for the Deputy Superintendent of Police Examination, 2007 for recruitment to 14 posts of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP).

• Post : Deputy Superintendent of Police
• No. of Vacancies : 14 posts
• Pay Scales : Rs. 7880 – 13500 (Initial Start of Rs. 8000/-)-
• Qualification : Candidates must possess a Graduation Degree of a recognized University. Candidates appearing in the final year/semester examination of the Degree of Graduation may appear in this examination subject to the declaration in the prescribed proforma to possess the Degree of Graduation before the commencement of viva voce. The candidature shall be cancelled in event of failure to do so.
• Age : Should not be less than 21 years and more than 28 years as on 1/1/2007. Age relaxation as per Punjab Govt. rules.

Fee : Scheduled Castes of all states and Backward Classes (Punjab) only : Rs.25/- only and Ex-Servicemen of Punjab No fee to be paid, All Others (including Lineal Descendents of ESM) Rs. 100/-. The Examination fee must be submitted through a crossed Bank Draft, in original, drawn in favour of the Secretary, Punjab Public Service Commission, and payable at Patiala. Candidates must write their name and address in BLOCK LETTERS on the back side of the Bank Draft.

Application Form : Candidates are required to obtain Information Sheet-cum-OMR Application Form from the office of Punjab Public Service Commission, Patiala w.e.f 25/6/2007. The cost is, At Counter Rs. 2/- and By Post Rs. 52/-.
