The age limit for the posts is 18 to 40 years. A passport size photograph should be pasted on the application. Name of the post applied may be mentioned on the envelope. Applications accompanying a DD of Rs. 200/- in favour of Chief Scientist, HARSAC payable at Hisar as application fee and two self addressed envelopes wthout stamps should reach the Chief Scientist, HARSAC, CCSHAU Campus, Hisar-125004 latest by 23/07/2007 till 5.00 PM.

Assistant Scientist (Geo-Informatics) : 01 post, Pay Scale : 8000-13500/-, Qualification : 1st Class M.E./M.Tech./ MCA/ M.Sc. or equivalent in Comouter Science/ Computer Engineering/ IT/ Geo-Informatics/ Physics/ Mathematics OR B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ Electronics/ IT/ Geoinformatics with one year experience in Sofware development/ customisation for remote sensing applications and image processing system/ GIS with minimum 60% marks in pure/ applied sciences, six years experie.Sc.nce for personnel with Doctorate degree, eight years with M.Sc./M.Tech. degree
2. Assistant Scientist (Agriculture) : 01 post, Pay Scale : 8000-13500/-, Qualification : 1st Class M.Sc. (Agriculture) or equivalent degree in Agronomy/ Plant Physiology/ Agricultural Physics/ Agro-Meteorology/ Horticulture .
3. Assistant Scientist (Forestry) : 01 post, Pay Scale : 8000-13500/-, Qualification : 1st Class M.Sc. or equivalent in Forestry/ Environmental Sciences.
4. Assistant Scientist (Water Resources) : 01 post, Pay Scale : 8000-13500/-, Qualification : 1st Class Master's degree in Agricultural Engineering/ Geology/ Geophysics OR 1st class B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent in Agricultural Engineering
5. Assistant Scientist (Geology/ Geophysics) : 01 post, Pay Scale : 8000-13500/-, Qualification : 1st Class M.Sc./ M.Tech. or equivalent in Geoplogy/ Geophysics.
6. Assistant Scientist (NRDMS), 01 post, Pay Scale : 8000-13500/-, Qualification : 1st Class M.Sc. in Biological Sciences/ Physical Science/ Mathematics/ Geography/ Urban Planning
7. Senior Scientific Assitant (Microwave) : 01 post, Pay Scale : 5500-9000/-, Qualification : 1st Class M.Sc. or equivalent in Physics/ Agricultural Physics.
8. Senior Scientific Assitant (Geoinformatics) : 02 posts, Pay Scale : 5500-9000/-, Qualification : 1st Class M.Sc./BE/B.Tech. in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ IT / Geoinformatics/ Computer Engineering/ Electronics/ MCA.

Hindi upto the Matric levle is mandatory. Candidates should have cleared NET/SET for the posts of Assistant Scientists.
