Faculty Vacancy in HIPA

HIMACHAL PRADESH INSTITUTE OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION (HIPA)

Applications are invited for faculty positions in the Institute. The available number of vacancies at present is 3 (three) at Shimla.

The remuneration for the posts is Rs. 12000/- P.M. (all inclusive). Applicants should be between 21-60 years as on 1.7.2007. The appointments are purely temporary and are not likely to be regularized even in future. The initial contract period will be for 1 year but can be extended for one year at a time subsequently subject to the need for the post and satisfactory work of the candidate selected.

The essential qualification for the posts is a Post Graduate in Public Administration/ Economics/ Social Work/ Agriculture/ Rural Development. Those with a degree in Law/Management can also apply. Proficiency in use of computers is essential. Educational qualification can be relaxed for retired officers with experiences in the area of Rural Development.
