G. B. Pant Institute of Himalayan Environment and Development is one of the premier autonomous Institute of the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India. The Institute is looking for dynamic persons to fill up the following posts:

• Name of Posts : Scientist-B : 07 posts (SC-01,OBC-02, UR-04)(Likely to re-designated as Scientist-C in same scale), Pay scale: Rs.10,000-375-15200/-.
• Name of Posts : Scientist-A : 01 post (UR) (Likely to re-designated as Scientist-B in same scale), Pay scale : Rs.8,000-275-13500/-.
• Age Limit : 35 years for Scientist B and 30 years for Scientist A.
• Place of work: Headquarters and any of the regional units of the Institute and candidates are liable to be posted anywhere in India.
