National Metallurgical Laboratory (NML), a constituent unit of CSIR, invites applications for the following Technical Posts in various divisions of the laboratory :

• Technical Staff Gr.III (2) : 03 posts (ST-01,GEN-02), Pay Scale : Rs.5500-9000, Age : Not exceeding 28 years
• Technical Staff Gr.III (3) : 03 posts (SC-01,OBC-01, GEN-02), Pay Scale : Rs.6500-10500, Age : Not exceeding 30 years
• Technical Staff Gr.III (4) : 02 posts (OBC-01,GEN-02), Pay Scale : Rs.8000-13500, Age : Not exceeding 35 years
• Technical Staff Gr.III (5) : 01 post (ST-01,GEN-02), Pay Scale : Rs.10000-15200, Age : Not exceeding 40 years

Relaxation in age limit maximum upto 5 years and 3 years in respect of SC/ST and OBC candidates respectively.

How to Apply : Application form can be had from the office of the Controller of Administration, National Metallurgical Laboratory, Jamshedpur - 831 007 in person or by sending a request for issue of an application form, along with a self addressed envelope of the size of 23x11 cms. affixed with postage stamps of Rs 10/-. Application form can also be downloaded from the website . Applications complete in all respects, supported by attested copies of certificates of educational qualifications, marksheets, experience certificates, community/category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/PWD etc.) along with crossed D.D. for Rs.100/- drawn in favour of the Director, National Metallurgical Laboratory, Jamshedpur - 831 007 payable at State Bank of India, NML Branch, Jamshedpur should be sent to The Administrative Officer, National Metallurgical Laboratory, Jamshedpur - 831007 so as to reach on or before 23/11/2007. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories and departmental candidates (CSIR Labs./Inst.) need not pay any application fee.
