Recruitment of Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) -2008

1. Graduate Engineer Trainee (Elec.) : 69 posts (UR-32, OBC-35, SC-2), Pay Scale : Rs.8000-14050/-
2. Graduate Engineer Trainee (Mech.) : 71 posts (UR-31, OBC-40), Pay Scale : Rs.8000-14050/-
3. Graduate Engineer Trainee (Civil) : 50 posts (UR-22,OBC-18,SC-08, ST-02), Pay Scale : Rs.8000-14050/-
4. Graduate Engineer Trainee (C&I) : 33 posts (UR-17,OBC-11,SC-3,ST-2), Pay Scale : Rs.8000-14050/-
5. Asst.-cum-Jr.Translator (Hindi) Gr.II : 01 posts (UR), Pay Scale : Rs.4100-6400/-

Age : not more than 29 years for post 1-4 and 30 years for post no. 5. Relaxation in age as per rules.

Qualification & Expereicne :

• Graduate Engineer Trainee : Passed 10+2 examination with 60% marks in aggregate and Four Years' full time Bachelor degree in Engineering/Technology in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Mechanical/ Power Plant Engineering/ Civil/ Electronics & Communications/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Electronics/ Instrumentation & Control/ Instrumentation/ Applied Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electronics & Instrumentation from any recognised University/ Institute
• Asst-cum-Jr. Translator (Hindi) Gr.II : BA(Hons) in Hindi. English as one of the compulsory elective subject at the Degree Level.

Laste date : 28/04/2008.

Fee : Bank Draft/Pay Order of Rs.100/- for GET and Rs.75/- for Jr.Translator drawn in favour of Chief Accounts Officer, DVC, payable at Kolkata. No application fee is required for SC/ ST/ PH candidates.
