IRCTC, a premier Public Sector undertaking under the Ministry of Railways is on the way to become one of the largest players in the Catering & Tourism Business. IRCTC has a vision to become one of the largest integrated hospitality company by 2010.

Applications are invited for Quality Control Professionals for a period of two years on contract. The number of posts is 130. Interested candidates must fulfil following eligibility conditions:


Qualification : Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management from Institutes recognised by NCHM/State Board of Technical Education/ AICTE. Candidate with minimum of two years post qualification practical experience in food production/ food and beverage service need only apply.

Desirable: should have an aptitude for maintaining quality control, packaging, processing and other hospitality related components such as customer care, customer complaints, maintaining the requisite standards of hygiene and food safety norms. (b) Experience of handling production units and operations related to the catering industry along with elementary knowledge of costing.

Age : The maximum age limit is 28 years as on 01/05/2008.

Payment: Selected candidates will be paid a consolidated sum of Rs.20000/- per month during the period of contract appointment.

Selection Procedure: Interested candidates may present themselves for a written exam (Objective type) of one hour duration and interview with bio-data, original documents and their attested copies at select centres at New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai & Mumbai on the respective dates & venue.
