Applications are invited for the following posts:

1. Scientific Officer/C (Software) : 01 post (ST), Pay Scale : Rs.8000-13500/-, Age : 18-25 years as on 01/01/08, Qualification : B.E. (Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology ) with a minimum of 60% marks. A good knowledge of Oracle 8i/9i/1g and Developer 2000 / 6i is essential. Candidates having additional qualification covered by certificates like MCSD, OCP or equivalent will be preferred. Knowledge of Java will be an added advantage.
2. Scientific Officer/C (Chemical) : 02 posts (PH-2), Pay Scale : Rs.8000-13500/-, Age : 18-25 years as on 01/01/08, Qualification : B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering with minimum 60% Marks.
3. Scientific Officer/C (Mechanical) : 01 post (PH-1), Pay Scale : Rs.8000-13500/-, Age : 18-25 years as on 01/01/08, Qualification : B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 60% Marks.
4. Scientific Officer/C (Electrical) : 01 post (PH-1), Pay Scale : Rs.8000-13500/-, Age : 18-25 years as on 01/01/08, Qualification : B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% Marks.
5. Deputy Chief Fire Officer/A : 02 post (UR), Pay Scale : Rs.8000-13500/-, Age : 40  years as on 01/01/08, Qualification : a) i. Passed SSC or equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry plus passed the Divisional Officer's Course from the National Fire Service College. OR Graduate/Associate Member of the Institute of Fire Engineers, India/ London. OR  ii. B.E. in Fire Engineering.
   b) Should possess a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License and must be fully conversant with the operation and maintenance of fire engines, fire pumps and other fire fighting equipments.
6. Station Officer/A : 01 post (SC), Pay Scale : Rs.7450-225-11500/-, Age : 40 years as on 01/01/08, Qualification : Passed SSC or equivalent and Certificate of Station Officer’s course from the National Fire Service College. OR Graduate of the Institute of Fire Engineering, India/London.  (ii) Candidates who have passed B.E. (Fire Engineering) and having valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence are also eligible to apply and in their case experience is not essential.
7. Stenographer Gr.II : 13 posts (UR-9,SC-1, ST-1, OBC-2), Pay Scale : Rs.5000-150-8000/-, Age : 18-27 years as on 01/01/08, Qualification : Matriculation or equivalent
   (ii) Minimum speed of 100 wpm in English Shorthand and 45 wpm in English Typewriting.
