Become a Permanent Commissioned Officer in 10+2 (Technical) Cadet Entry Scheme Course Commencing - January 2009
Every year, the Indian Navy selects young and bright, unmarried Male Indian Citizens to join the prestigious Naval College of engineering at Lonavla (Pune) and Cochin University of Science & Technology at Kochi. These institutes prepare officers to make a career in Marine/Electrical/Electronic Engineering and Naval Architecture respectively.
Eligibility Conditions:
Age : Between 16-1/2 to 19 years (candidates to be born between 02 Jan 1990 to 01 Jul 1992 both dates inclusive)
Educational Qualifications : Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent from University/Board with at least 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in english either in class X or class XII.
Physical Standards : Hight and Wieght : Minimum height Male - 157 cms, with correlated weight. Eye Sight - The minimum acceptable standard for distant vision 6/12, 6/12 correctable to 6/6 with glasses. Should not be colour/night blind.
