Engagement of Home Guards in Delhi
- Enrolment of Female Home Guards : Applications are invited from female candidates who have never served in Home Guards Organisation for enrolment of 500 female Home Guard volunteers.
- Re-Enrolment of Home Guards in Delhi : Applications are invited from the discharged home Guard Volunteers for re-enrolment who were discharged under rule 8 of Delhi Home Guards Rules, 1959 on and after 6/11/2004 (No. of Vacancies 550 for Male & Female both). Only those possessive skill in the following trades are eligible for reenrolment : (1) Computer Operators (2) Driver Commercial (3) Electricians (4) Auto Electricians (5) Auto mechanics (6) Draftsmen T Carpenters (8) Stenographers (9) Welders (10) Fitters (11) Masons (12) Cooks (13) Plumbers (14) Pump Operators (15) Rank Holders C.C./ S.P.C./ P.C (16)PartTime Instructors
- Enrolment of Honorary district Commandant in Delhi Home Guards : Applications are invited from persons who have never served in Home Guards Organisation for enrolment of 12 Honorary District Commandants (Eleven Male and one Female).
All the above mentioned vacancies are initially for three years and the tenure can be extended for further period of two years on the basis of work and conduct, physical and medical fitness.
Application forms are available within 30 days from the date of advertisement in the Recruitment Cell of this Directorate and the duly filled up application forms are required to be submitted in this Directorate within the above prescribed limit of 30 days between 10.00 AM to 4.00 PM on all working days except Saturday, Sunday & Gazetted Holiday @ Rs. 25/- each.
